Through this study, we aim to understand how rural India survived the pandemic and what are its effects on the different economic sectors of a developing nation like India. This study is significant to gain an overall perspective of the socio-economic impact of the pandemic on rural communities by gaining insights in depth. To analyse the impact of covid 19 pandemic on rural economy and how the rural India dealt with the effects, findings are State of women in the rural community. Women play important role in the rural economy because of their contribution as small business owners, and wage earners. Women in rural communities have always been neglected, even before covid -19 pandemic.
