Abstract

This research investigates the determinants influencing customers' intention to purchase residential property in India, focusing on property-related factors, the surrounding environment, and investment considerations. Drawing from various studies exploring customer buying intention in the Indian real estate market, the findings underscore the critical role of the property's healthiness, value, safety, security, and location in shaping customer buying intentions. Additionally, the surrounding environment, encompassing the neighbourhood, facilities, and accessibility, emerges as a substantial influencer. The study delves into investment-related dynamics, exploring the connection between consumer purchase intention (CPI) a+nd real estate investment decisions. By offering valuable insights, this research equips developers, policymakers, and stakeholders in the real estate industry to make informed decisions and tailor strategies to meet the evolving demands of the market.
