Abstract

As the demand of renewal sources of energy is increasing due to the degradation of conventional sources, Solar energy is getting vital importance as it is used in solar water heating in household and various industries. This research paper focuses on the performance enhancement techniques of the evacuated tube collector by various method, these include by using phase change material, nanofluids, reflectors and hybrid techniques and reviews were studied in which the system would give better results. The reviewed paper concluded that using phase change material, compound parabolic reflector and nanofluid simultaniously would give optimum results for better performance in evacuated tube collector.
